Privacy policy

Convinced Academy is the learning platform run by Convinced, a company registered in Denmark. Convinced is the data controller for the personal data described here. If you have questions about this policy or your data, write to mads@convinced.dk.

We keep only what the platform needs to work:

• Your name and email address
• The company you belong to
• Your course progress (which modules you have completed, and when)
• Your answers to quizzes and polls
• When you accepted this policy

Your password is stored only in hashed form; we cannot read it. Certificates are generated in your browser when you download them and are not stored by us.

Your employer has given you access to Convinced Academy as part of a training agreement with Convinced. We use your data to sign you in, show you the courses assigned to you, keep track of your progress and issue your certificate. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it.

Convinced administrators can see your name, email, company and progress. Your data is not shared with other learners.

We use a small number of service providers to run the platform. They process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery) and Vimeo (video playback).

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies, and course videos are embedded with tracking turned off.

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. When your account is deleted, your profile, progress and quiz answers are deleted with it. We do not keep an archive.

Under the GDPR you have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. To use any of these rights, write to mads@convinced.dk.

You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.dk.
